Children's Book Day!

Happy Children's Book Day! Betcha don't know these questions about children's books! The winner gets a virtual pat on the back! :D

--Who is Ted Geisel?
--What was the last thing the Hungry Little Caterpillar ate?
--Who are Nancy Drew's two best friends? (Bonus: What's her boyfriend's name?) ;)

Anyway. Today's Words are from the category of Say What? My comments are in italics! Enjoy! :D

"Can we just bring in tissues and color them?" Only if they are the cellular type of tissue. Coloring plain old kleenexes gets boring after a while and isn't nearly as rewarding as coloring bodily tissue, if you know what I mean. ...I hope you do, because I certainly don't.

"My yolk has busted." The horror. The horror.

"And, really, it's not your tongue's fault." Oh, I am so glad you have cleared this point up. I thought I was going to need some more tongue counseling, which was getting old. And slimy.

"It's, like, Mr. Radish!" To be precise, it was actually Mrs. Turnip. I don't know where you get these outlandish ideas.

Uh... I never got past The Old Clock Mystery, so... I have no idea. All I know is that Sherlock Holmes is CLEARLY superior and HIS best friend is Watson. *smart face*
