The Real Impossible Question

So, you know how, in both well-known movies and in the actual book of Alice in Wonderland/Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (movie titles and book title, respectively), the Mad Hatter asks "Why is a raven like a writing desk?" He asks that in all the possible versions of this story--but never answers it.

!

This has got to be some sort of code, or something. Well, maybe not. But, seriously, sure he's mad, but why would Lewis Carroll feel the need to drive us mad too, trying to figure out the answer? Someone at my school wrote that question on the "Movie Quotes Whiteboard," earning the response of an anonymous commenter armed with a green marker, saying that "Poe wrote on both." That's pretty good. I always thought it was just because of the inky feathers on both (considering the time period in which Alice's Adventures in Wonderland was written)...any other opinions?

...well, while you chew on that...today's Words are from the category of Say What? My comments are in italics! Enjoy! :D

"We need some duct tape so we can voodoo Abby." Duct Tape Voodoo. For when you thought your voodoo wouldn't hold up under X-TREME CIRCUMSTANCES. Or for when your voodoo just isn't manly enough.

"OH! I forgot to tell you guys! I discovered a new voice inside my head!" What did I say about not telling people about those anymore?

"Did Donald eat his trombone case?" Again? Oh, wait, no, his stomach just has really long, skinny things sticking out on either side so it looks like he ate a trombone case. It's probably the actual trombone. My bad!

"That is such a rip-off of Holly taking over the world with cheese sticks." If I had a dollar for every time I've heard that...

Is it funny that I just found out I was cast as the Mad Hatter in the play Alice in Wonderland five minutes before I read this?
The second one is me, isn't it? I think so.
